Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman returns home after treatment

Ten days after the successful completion of heart bypass surgery, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has returned home after completing treatment. He returned home from United Hospital in Gulshan in the capital at around 10:30 am on Tuesday (August 12). The matter was confirmed by the party's Assistant Secretary General and Head of Central Media and Publicity Department Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair.
Zubair said that after recovering after the operation, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman was taken home on the advice of doctors. At that time, he expressed gratitude for the prayers and good wishes of the countrymen.
His heart bypass surgery was performed at United Hospital on August 2. Earlier, on July 19, while addressing the Jamaat's national rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital, he suddenly fell ill. He was immediately admitted to a private hospital and given primary treatment.
Later, on July 30, an angiogram was performed at United Medical College Hospital, which revealed four blocks in his heart. On the advice of doctors, bypass surgery was performed, which was successfully completed.
