A team of Supreme Court lawyers led by Maria Rahman went to Dhaka Medical to see the patients who were shot during the quota movement. At this time, they gave financial aid to 15 people who were shot and inquired about them.
On Monday (August 12) afternoon, they went to ward number 102 of Dhaka Medical and talked to them and their families. Later they gave financial donation to 15 people.
Supreme Court lawyer Maria Rahman said, "We have helped them a little because of their conscience." I pray for the salvation of the souls of those who were killed while protesting and for the speedy recovery of those who are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
Shilpi, the lawyer of the Supreme Court, said, "We have always been there, but after learning that there are so many people lying here with bullet wounds, we came to see them under the leadership of lawyer Maria Rahman." We have given them some financial support. We have a message for students and coordinators, that the issues of those who are undergoing treatment for gunshot wounds should be treated with utmost importance.
Marisa Rahman, a master's student of Rajshahi University, said, I came to visit the injured at Dhaka Medical College on the initiative of my sister lawyer Maria Rahman and colleagues. We have seen what danger has passed over Bangladesh.
