Prime Minister Tarique Rahman said, 'July Uprising Memorial Museum' is not just a memorial of a specific movement; it is a reflection of the history and sacrifice of various democratic movements conducted for democracy, rights and freedom in Bangladesh. He expressed hope that this museum will inform the future generation about the country's history and inspire democratic values.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of the July Uprising Museum in the capital on Wednesday (August 5) morning.

At the beginning of the program, the Prime Minister paid deep respect to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in various democratic movements of the country. He said, this day will be remembered as an important milestone in the history of the country.

The Prime Minister said, the museum will preserve various chapters of the country's struggle, sacrifice and establishment of democracy. Through this, the new generation will get an opportunity to get acquainted with various events of the past and will be able to learn from history.

He further said that at various times in the country's history, the democratic process has been hampered and the people have struggled to establish their rights through various crises. This museum will play an important role in preserving the memory of that experience and struggle.

The Prime Minister expressed hope that the July Memorial Museum will play an effective role in raising awareness about the country's history, democratic practices and national heritage and will be established as an important educational center for future generations.
