Indian journalist Hiranmoy Karlekar commented that if Bangladesh wants Sheikh Hasina back then it is not right to return her. According to him, this will send a message to Indian loyalists that they cannot rely on India in times of trouble.

Hiranmoy Karlekar, consulting editor of the Indian newspaper The Pioneer, wrote in a column, "Hasina's return will send a message to India's most loyalists that they cannot rely on India even in bad times." Which New Delhi will never want.”

“India must remain steadfast in not handing over an ally like Hasina. Especially when such demands come from (alleged) anti-India forces.”

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir demanded the return of Sheikh Hasina in an interview given to the Indian media a few days ago. So that he can be brought to justice. However, this Indian journalist urged not to accept Fakhrul's demand.

He wrote in the column, "According to the information of the Indian media, Mirza Fakhrul wanted Hasina back for two reasons. These are ridiculous. The question is whether he will get justice in Bangladesh now? If the allegations against him are true and he has done very bad things; However, he is entitled to justice."

On August 5, Sheikh Hasina was forced to flee the country in the face of the student crowd. On that day he took refuge in Delhi, the capital of India.

Before Sheikh Hasina fled to India, one of the biggest murders in history took place in Bangladesh. About a thousand people lost their lives. In addition, thousands more were injured and admitted to the hospital. On the morning of Sheikh Hasina's escape, he ordered the security forces to be tougher and carry out the killings. A case has been filed against him for crimes against humanity including murder. Most of the people demanded that Hasina be returned to judge these cases.
