Buddhadev Bhattacharya, the second and last Chief Minister of India's West Bengal for 34 years of Left Front rule, passed away on Thursday. He was a culture minded politician. Therefore, regardless of color and party, like the political circles, the stars of the other side of Bengal became bereaved. They bid farewell to their comrades with a red salute.
Tollywood actress Rituparna Sengupta floated in public to pay tribute to Buddhadev Bhattacharya on Friday. Groups of people gathered on this day. Seeing that, the heroine's opinion is that if there is no separate place in people's minds, this incident does not happen.
Remembering the late former chief minister, he told the Indian media, "When I reached, the body was being taken from the office of the party office on Alimuddin Street to Neelratan Sarkar Hospital. For me the hearse shock was stopped for a few moments. I reached the car floating in the crowd.
Rituparna said, "On the way, I realized how Buddhadev Bhattacharya is in people's minds. Common people spontaneously stand on the side of the road to see him for the last time.
Buddhadev, dressed in white robes, is a good man besides 'Chief Minister' to Rituparna. According to the actress, even after death, the beautiful spirit of Buddhadev Bhattacharya was manifested through body donation. He said, 'My Pisima, Pisemshai are travelers of the same path. I will also follow the path of the former Chief Minister. If I donate my body instead of cremation, my body parts may bring a dying person back to life. Through him I will live forever.
