National mourning is being observed in public and private offices

A day of state mourning is being observed in all private and government offices of the country in memory of those killed in the quota reform movement in government jobs.
Officials have been wearing black badges since government offices opened at 9 a.m. on Tuesday (July 30).
On Tuesday morning at 9:30 am, it was seen that all the employees were working in the office with black badges on their chests.

Earlier, the government declared a day of national mourning on the instructions of the Prime Minister yesterday in memory of those killed in the quota reform movement. During this time all office staff will wear black badges. Along with this, there will be arrangements for prayers in all mosques of the country. At the same time, instructions have been given to offer special prayers in temples and churches.
