Pabiprobi's new vice-chancellor professor Dr. Joined by SM Abdul Awal

Professor Dr. SM Abdul Awal has been appointed as the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Pabna Science and Technology University. He joined the Vice-Chancellor's office on Wednesday (September 25) morning. Deans, departmental chairmen and senior officers of various faculties were present at this time.
Last Monday (September 23), Acharya Khulna University's Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering discipline professor Dr. SM Abdul Awal Appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Pabna University of Science and Technology for the next four years.
After joining on Wednesday, the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. SM Abdul Awal said, students will be the most important to us. Development of employment oriented students and student facilities will be increased. With the cooperation of all, including teachers and students, a new non-discrimination university will be built in the context of the new Bangladesh.
Recalling the sacrifices of the martyrs and the injured in the anti-discrimination movement, he said, through their sacrifices, we got a new Bangladesh. Only then will they be respected. Everyone should sincerely do their duty for the country and work to gain the second freedom.
Professor Dr. SM Abdul Awal said that everyone should be tolerant and make sacrifices to create a student-friendly environment for the university. This university will be the ideal school of knowledge for teachers and students. With the cooperation of all, I will try my best to take the university to a respectable position in the national and international area.
He also said that the university should proceed with self-sufficiency and long-term planning. Then once the university will gain a unique reputation nationally due to which later it will stand as an international standard university. I want to present Pabna's heritage to the world through the university. Students and I have big dreams. I want to come up with something new. We will all try together to reduce the congestion quickly.
He paid tribute to the victims of the anti-discrimination movement and the democratic movement of the last 15 years and said, "In exchange of their sacrifice, we got new Bangladesh." He said that he will visit the house of the martyrs in the anti-discrimination movement and said that he will try to do everything for the welfare of the injured students including treating them. I hope that a discrimination-free Bangladesh will be developed with the collective efforts of all.
Later, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. SM Abdul Awal offered Zohr prayer at the central mosque of the university and participated in prayers for the souls of the martyrs of the anti-discrimination movement.
