After the independence of the country. Ages have passed. Many of the people who grew up in the village are no longer alive because of old age. Some are alive as witnesses of time. But the fate of infrastructural development has not changed. The people of this village have not seen a paved road even in the 53 years of independence of Kwa Bunia villagers of No. 2 Kukua Union of Amtali Upazila. As a result, the suffering of hundreds of families is indescribable. To the people of this village, the paved road is like Alauddin's amazing path.

It is known that this village is located next to Patuakhali Kuakata regional highway. The development of brick and stone in various villages of this union has been touched, but this village has not been touched. Mahishkata Wabda to Brickfield 5 km long road with ID number, 504094025 looks like a cursed village. According to the census, more than three thousand people live in this village. In this area there are first class officials, engineers, officials of various government and private institutions, expatriates and ordinary citizens.
The people of neighboring district Patuakhali also use this road constantly. This road is of great importance as the village lies along the Patuakhali Kuakata Regional Highway. Even though unprecedented development has been achieved in the entire country, it has not spilled over in this area. The local conscious community blames the failure of public representatives behind this. The village has two government primary schools, one secondary school, two Noorani Hafizi Madrasahs. Due to the location of two primary schools in the middle of the village, Kamalti students have to walk to and from school regularly through mud on rainy days. During the rainy season, schooling is stopped as soon as the feet fall to the seat. In this way, young students are constantly victimized by small accidents.
Expatriates Mahasin Madbar and Ferdaus Pada, residents of this village by birth, said that the rural road made of mud in this village has not been touched by development even today. Due to which more than three thousand people from thousands of local families have been suffering for ages. Every year when the monsoon season comes, the condition of the road becomes fragile. Cars cannot enter the road from the main road. Vote-centric public representatives are only deceiving the people of the area day after day by giving false promises of development.
They also said that currently there are more than two hundred students studying in school-college and madrasa in each room. As there is no paved road in the village, these students have to suffer the most when it rains.
According to local residents, the main road of the village can be used during the dry season, but the road becomes muddy during the monsoon season. This mud has to be walked on. During the rainy season, shoes cannot be worn on the road. I hear about the development but I don't see it. There is no development of our roads.
Dala Gazi Mia, a local senior resident, said with pain, "I am almost 100 years old, I don't see any change in our village, it is not possible to see a paved road before I die." Development happens everywhere but our area doesn't develop.
West Kewabunya Government Primary School Headmaster Liaquat Ali Mia said, "No one listens to our sufferings and sufferings." Our suffering cannot be explained, we have to see it with our own eyes. We cannot go to the bazaar properly. Our children go to school and college with difficulty. Who knows how long to suffer like this.
In this context, Zahir Matubbar, UP member of Ward No. 1 of Kukua Union, said: Acknowledging the suffering of the people, the road is at least necessary. It is the only ward in the entire union where no brick and stone were touched.
Borhan Uddin Ahmed Masum Talukdar, Chairman of No. 2 Kukua Union, said that there is no paved road in this village yet. We have sent papers for this road to Amtali Engineer Office, Barguna LGD Office and various Ministries to pave the road. He hoped to get a benefit soon.
Amtali Upazila Engineer Abdullah Al Mamun said, however, this road is not yet included in the project. is in process.
