The students of Islami University (EB) held a protest march and rally against the attack on common students by Chhatra League in Chittagong University (CHB). At the time, they also demanded ban on Chhatra League.
On Monday (October 21) students took out a procession from Zia Mor of the university at 4 pm. The procession circled the important roads of the campus and ended in front of the administration building. Later a short rally was held there.
In the procession, the students chanted 'Why the attack on Chabi, the administration wants an answer', 'Awami League-Chatra League, ban it-must be done', 'Abu Saeed-Mugdh, the war is not over', I will not let my brother's blood go in vain', 'I want to be hanged, hanged, hanged'. , want to hang the murderer Hasina, etc. started shouting slogans.
In the rally, the students said, "After the 24th mass uprising, the defeated forces are still showing their black hands to destroy the new independence of Bangladesh. Before this, they tried to destroy our revolution in the name of Ansar League or lawyers. In continuation of that, Chhatra League, Jubo League on the students of the anti-discrimination student movement in Chittagong. We strongly condemn and protest against those who are trying to put pressure on this government I will drop it. The blood that you shed in the movement of twenty-four years has not yet dried. We must remain united until we overthrow the friends of the fascists.
EB anti-discrimination movement coordinator SM Sweet said, "Although the Awami fascist government fell in the 24th mass uprising, they have not yet been able to eliminate the fascist regime that transformed this country into a prison in the last 15 years. The brutal torture of my brothers and sisters in the terrorist regime in Chittagong. We strongly condemn and protest against it. Chhatra League must be banned as a terrorist league. We want to fight together shoulder to shoulder in the days ahead.
