Chhatra Dal's mourning rally in memory of martyrs in Savar

The rally led by Mohammad Tamiz Uddin, the former convenor of Dhaka District Uttar Chhatra Dal, left the Savar Upazila square and circled the Dhaka-Aricha highway and ended with a short rally at Thana Bus Stand. During the rally, the activists started chanting various slogans demanding the trial of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her associates.

Autorickshaw driver hacked to death in Savar

An autorickshaw driver named Shajahan Khan (24) was hacked to death in Birulia Union of Savar Upazila. After receiving the information, the police recovered his body from the spot. It is believed that the robbers tried to hijack his autorickshaw.
