There is no spinner in the Pakistan team for the Rawalpindi Test. Two spinners Abrar Ahmed and Kamran Ghulam are not in the first Test against Bangladesh. Both of them have been called up for the four-day unofficial Test against the Bangladesh 'A' team. Naturally, Pakistan is particularly dependent on the pace attack against Bangladesh.

But that dependence has been replaced by shock. Pace bowling all-rounder Amer Jamal, who performed brilliantly in the Test series against Australia, has now been dropped from the Test against Bangladesh. Pakistan will miss this right-arm fast bowler in the entire series.
Amer Jamal was kept out of the two-match series on the condition that he regains fitness. He is currently at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore due to this back injury. His rehabilitation process is going on there. He would join the team only when he was healthy. But finally he is not being added anymore. Pakistan will go into this series without him due to his health.

The PCB notification read, "He was included in the squad but his fitness would depend on whether he would play or not." He has been advised to go to the National Cricket Academy in Lahore to work on fitness. Aamir Jamal suffered a back injury while playing county cricket this year.

Jamal was released from the squad but no replacement was taken. Even after leaving 3 cricketers from the squad, Pakistan did not call anyone new to the team.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Ali, and Khurram Shehzad are in Pakistan's pace department for the Rawalpindi Test against Bangladesh after Amer Jamal was dropped. They are sure to have at least four in the first Test. Finally, which pacer they play will be known on August 21.
