11-party 5-day program to demand implementation of referendum verdict

The 11-party unity led by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a five-day program across the country to demand implementation of the referendum verdict.
Mamunul Haque announced the program at a press conference held at the Al Falah Auditorium in the capital on Tuesday (April 7). He is the Ameer of the Khelafat Majlish.
The announced programs include: mass communication, leaflet distribution, seminars and protest programs. It was informed that these programs will be held across the country from April 9 to April 13.
According to the program, leaflet distribution and mass communication will start with an inauguration at Shahbagh in the capital on April 9. Protest programs will be held in all metropolitan cities on April 11 and at the district level on April 12. In addition, a national seminar will be held at the Diploma Engineering Institute in Kakrail in the capital on April 13.
Leaders of various parties including Mia Golam Parwar, Ahmad Abdul Qader, Sarjis Alam, Ariful Islam Adib, Asaduzzaman Fuad and Rashed Prodhan were also present at the press conference.
Earlier, in the session of the Constitutional Reform Council held at the same venue, top leaders of 11 parties discussed various important issues including the implementation of the referendum verdict and the energy crisis.
