Dr. Zubaida Rahman leaves Dhaka, leaves for London

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman's wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman has left Dhaka for London, UK. She left for London on a flight from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at around 8:30 am today (December 20, 2025).
According to reliable sources, after arriving at the airport as scheduled and completing all the formalities, she boarded a UK-bound flight. Her close friends were present at the airport at that time. She did not make any official statements or talk to the media during the journey.
Although Dr. Zubaida Rahman is known in the political arena as the wife of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, she herself is a doctor by profession. She has been staying in the UK for a long time and travels to the country when necessary.
Her visit has created a lot of discussion and curiosity in political circles. However, the sources concerned say that this is a pre-arranged personal visit and is not related to any immediate political program.
It is worth noting that Tarique Rahman is currently staying in the UK. Dr. Zubaida Rahman is said to be spending time on medical and personal matters as well as family reunion through this journey.
No official statement has been made by the BNP on this matter yet. However, there has been a natural interest in this visit among the party's leaders and activists.
