BNP leaflet distribution and mass outreach program held in Barisal

A massive leaflet distribution and mass outreach program was held in Kashipur Chowmatha and Gariarpar areas of the city on Sunday at the initiative of BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman to implement the 31-point program regarding state structure reforms. Through this program, which lasted from 4 pm to evening, an attempt was made to make the common people of the area aware of the ongoing activities of the government and the BNP's reform proposals.

Afroza Khanam Nasreen, Senior Joint Convener of Barisal Metropolitan BNP, was present as the chief guest in the program. At that time, central BNP leader Saiful Islam, Metropolitan BNP Joint Convener Musa Kajal, Halim Mridha, Zahirul Islam Litu, members Sirajul Haque Mridha, Nurul Islam Panir, leaders and activists of various wards and local supporters were present. They spoke directly to the people of the city and highlighted the goals of the 31-point program and the importance of implementing it.

The leaders said, “There is no alternative to implementing the 31-point program announced by Tarique Rahman to resolve the ongoing economic and political crisis in the country and restore the basic rights of the people. If this program is successful, the welfare of the people will be ensured and fairness and justice will be established at all levels of the country.”

The leaders also called for strengthening party unity and increasing direct contact with the people in the coming days. They said that the common people will be made aware of their rights and responsibilities through mass communication at the local level, so that the people can actively participate in the process of constructive change in the country.

In the past few days, Barisal Metropolitan BNP has continued its activities to increase political awareness among the people and convey information about the party program through mass communication and leaflet distribution in various wards. This program on Sunday is also being considered as part of that continuity.

Through the program, BNP leaders promised that they would continue to connect with the people in the future, respond to local problems, and play an active role in establishing a just and well-organized state structure in the country.
