Controversial doctor Dr. Sabrina was seen paying homage at the tomb of BNP founder martyr President Ziaur Rahman. Nationalist Jubo Dal president Abdul Monayem Munna expressed his anger over the incident. He expressed his anger in a status posted on Facebook on Monday.
Abdul Monayem Munna wrote, 'Controversial doctor Sabrina is a criminal in the Corona certificate forgery case. Where did the woman get the courage to go to the tomb of martyr President Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam? Strict action should be taken against those who took her, subject to investigation.'
Dr. Sabrina Sharmin Hossain and her husband Ariful Chowdhury are accused of financially benefiting from the identity of the chairman of JKG Healthcare without the permission of the authorities while working at the National Heart Institute. In collusion between the two, the inexperienced and unlicensed company JKG Healthcare was given permission to collect Covid-19 samples. Instead of collecting samples for free as per the approval, the workers went door to door and gave fake reports for 5-8 thousand taka on their instructions. In this, about 15 thousand 460 fake reports were prepared and a huge amount of money was embezzled.
In the three months of lockdown, more than 1 crore 16 lakh taka was deposited in the bank accounts of their Oval Group and affiliated institutions, which was proven by the ACC investigation to be the money for corona tests.
Sabrina is also accused of creating two National Identity Cards (NIDs) by hiding information. Different dates of birth and different husbands' names were used in the two NIDs.
