The students of the anti-discrimination movement occupied the road adjacent to the house of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi number 32 and the surrounding area.
As a part of the 'Resistance Week' programme, thousands of protestors have occupied Dhanmondi No. 32.
On Thursday (August 15), a large number of students and crowds occupied Dhanmondi No. 32, Rafa Plaza and surrounding areas.
Army members are stationed in front of number 32 to maintain law and order.
Besides, several police, BGB and army personnel have taken position at Metro shopping mall intersection.
Sheikh Hasina's government was overthrown in a popular student uprising on August 5.
Agitators stationed at Dhanmondi No. 32 were seen shouting slogans against Sheikh Hasina and the recently deposed Awami League government. They blame former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the recent agitation and are demanding justice for Sheikh Hasina.
Meanwhile, no Awami League leaders were seen at Dhanmondi No. 32 on August 15 to pay their respects to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. However, two activists in black clothes were seen chasing the students.
