Sudden inspection at Siddhirganj Union Land Office, State Minister fumed in anger

State Minister for Land Kaiser Kamal witnessed extreme mismanagement during a surprise inspection at the Siddhirganj Union Land Office in Narayanganj. When he reached the office at 9:10 am on Wednesday (March 4), he found that no responsible official was still present at work.
The sudden presence of a government minister created an uncomfortable situation throughout the office. The State Minister sat on the balcony for about half an hour waiting for the officials, which attracted the attention of the locals.
He expressed his anger after not finding any important responsible person even after the stipulated time. Terming the incident as 'unwanted' in front of the media present, he warned that strict administrative action will be taken if there is negligence in state duties and disruption in public services.
The State Minister said that irregularities, corruption or irresponsibility will not be tolerated in government offices. He directed the administration to be stricter to ensure punctuality, especially at important service centers like land offices.
Sources said that after this incident, the process of issuing show cause notices against absent officials has been started. The State Minister said that such surprise inspections will continue in different parts of the country in the future.
