Humanitarian UNO in Tentulia is now with the homeless mentally unbalanced woman Rasheda Begum

Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Afroz Shahin Khasru set another example of humanitarian initiatives in Tentulia Upazila of Panchagarh. This time, the mentally unbalanced and homeless woman of Ward No. 8 of Shalbahan Union No. 4 received assistance. Rasheda Begum. UNO provided 3 bundles of strong corrugated iron and a cash check of Tk 9,000 for the construction of a house for this disaster-affected woman.
He officially handed over this assistance at the Tentulia Upazila Parishad premises on Saturday (November 23, 2025) noon. The corrugated iron and cash provided as government disaster assistance will be used to build a house for Rasheda Begum, so that she can live safely and with human dignity.
Present at the time of handing over the assistance were Tentulia Upazila Executive Officer Afroza Shahid Khasru, Project Implementation Officer Maidul Islam, Shalbahan UP Chairman Ashraful Islam, UNO Office Senior CA Md. Kabir Hossain, Tentulia Secondary Education Officer Shawkat Ali, Officer-in-Charge of Tentulia Social Service Office Abu Taher and local public representatives.
The locals welcomed and appreciated this humanitarian initiative of UNO.
Tentulia Upazila Executive Officer Afroz Shahin Khasru said that the district and upazila administrations are always working alongside the helpless and homeless people. Such cooperation will continue regularly in the future as well.
