People are not born to work for anyone, but to become entrepreneurs, said Bangladesh's Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. He said that every person is born to create something new according to his own ability, and it is the responsibility of everyone in society to provide that opportunity.
He made this comment while delivering the chief guest's speech at the inauguration ceremony of Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) Bhaban-2 in Agargaon, the capital, on Sunday (September 14) morning. Representatives of various government and private organizations, entrepreneurs and PKSF officials were present at the ceremony.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, "People are not born to work for anyone. People are born to become entrepreneurs. So let us go that way, let us give that opportunity to everyone." He also mentioned that today, new horizons of possibilities have opened up for entrepreneurs due to technology. Technology has connected people worldwide, and by using it, the young generation is able to involve themselves in new innovations and initiatives.
He further said, “Now people have become many types of entrepreneurs. We have not listed anyone. More opportunities are coming. The main reason for this is technology. Technology has connected us to the world. Now is the time to use technology.”
The Chief Advisor said that it is the responsibility of the government and society to provide every person with an opportunity to move forward in the light of his or her capabilities. He expressed hope that PKSF will start a new journey in the new building and play a bigger role in the process of creating entrepreneurs.
