Israel has released 130 more people from the Global Sumud flotilla, which has taken the initiative to deliver relief to the besieged Gaza Strip in Palestine. The Jordanian Foreign Ministry confirmed this information on Tuesday (October 7). These 130 people include citizens of Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Oman, Kuwait, Libya, Pakistan, Turkey, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Czech Republic, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and Uruguay.

Jordanian state media 'Petra News' reported that the country's foreign authorities received these 130 human rights activists from Israel and provided them with necessary services. The flotilla had set off for Gaza with 500 human rights activists from around the world on a total of 42 ships. The original goal was to break Israel's illegal naval blockade and deliver emergency aid to the people of Gaza.

But last week, Israel seized all the ships from international waters, and Israeli naval commandos took the activists on board to the port of Ashdod. Earlier, Israel had handed over hundreds of other activists to Turkey and Italy. The detained activists said they were tortured after being taken off the ships. World-renowned environmentalist Greta Thunberg was not spared from this punishment; she was forcibly photographed wearing an Israeli flag and was not provided with adequate food and water.

The flotilla's operation has been the focus of intense international criticism, with the world community accusing it of human rights violations.
