Dr. Samanta Lal in hiding even at the moment of national disaster, why?

At the moment of national disaster, when hundreds of people in the country were burned in a plane crash and were on the verge of life and death, the absence of the country's pioneer in burn treatment, Professor Dr. Samanta Lal Sen, is surprising people. The man who himself laid the foundation of this medical branch, who has received many international accolades, is now in hiding! He is nowhere to be seen during the country's biggest burn accident. Yet his presence and leadership at such a moment could have saved many lives.
It is sad but true, in recent times, Dr. Samanta Lal has been embroiled in various controversies. He has been accused of taking advantage of his political identity, demanding to remain neutral in medical work despite holding a party position, and even abusing administrative power. Now, when the nation wants to see him in charge, he is silent. Is he just staying in the shelter of honor? Or did he himself step aside to avoid political risks? This question is on the public mind today.
Many are saying that if he is truly innocent, then come forward and clarify his position. But he is neither coming forward nor making any statement. Rumors are circulating on Facebook—he has been arrested, or is abroad, while others are saying he is at home. But none of this can be confirmed. Even the Ministry of Health has not made a clear statement on this matter.
This silence and behavior of running away does not go with a responsible doctor. Rather, it is causing confusion and reducing trust among the people. Is it right for the one who established the burn unit to retreat in such a crisis? Or are all his past contributions now just a memory?
People are asking the question today—is Dr. Samant Lal a responsible doctor or an opportunist? Is he busy protecting his own honor, or is he incapable of playing the role of a true doctor in this terrible humanitarian disaster? If even a national treasure has to go into hiding for political reasons, then how much of a failure is this state apparatus and leadership?
