Bank account of former MP Mohiuddin Maharaj was summoned in Pirojpur

Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has summoned the bank accounts of Awami League leader Pirojpur-2 Constituency former Member of Parliament Mohiuddin Maharaj and his wife.
A senior official of BFIU confirmed this information to Dhaka Post on Tuesday (August 13).
In the letter sent by BFIU to the banks, financial institutions, it is said that the banks have been instructed to send all the transaction information of the personal and business accounts held by Mohiuddin Maharaj and his wife Umm Kulsoom and his son Sammam Junaid Ifti within the next 7 working days.
