According to their statements, they remain grateful for the time, memories, and experiences shared together, and will continue to hold care, respect, and good wishes for one another. However, over time, they realized that parting ways would be best for them due to differences in mutual understanding.

They further stated that the divorce process is currently underway with the consent of their families. At the same time, the celebrity couple has requested friends, colleagues, fans, and the media to respect their privacy during this period of transition in their lives.

Pritom and Shehtaz first met while working together on the music video for the song ‘Jadukar’. Their friendship gradually blossomed into a romantic relationship. They had kept their relationship private for a long time before getting married.

Pritom and Shehtaz tied the knot in October 2022 in Sreemangal, Moulvibazar, in the presence of family members and close associates. Various reports have cited both October 28 and October 29 as the wedding date.

After marriage, they frequently shared moments spent together on social media. However, after nearly four years of marriage, the couple has now announced their decision to officially separate.

While various speculations regarding the reason for the separation have surfaced on social media, no specific cause has been confirmed beyond the statements released by the two.
