Salman mediates in 'Don 3' controversy, Ranveer-Farhan face-to-face conflict

A new complication has arisen around Bollywood's much-discussed film 'Don 3'. Actor Ranveer Singh's sudden withdrawal from the film and the production company Excel Entertainment's demand for Rs 45 crore compensation in this regard have intensified the discussion. At the same time, the Film Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a 'non-cooperation' notice against Ranveer. In such a situation, Bollywood star Salman Khan has stepped in as a mediator to resolve the dispute between the two parties.
According to Indian media reports, Salman Khan has personally contacted Ranveer Singh and producer Farhan Akhtar. He has urged both parties to resolve the problem through discussions among themselves instead of involving a third party or the federation. Sources close to the actor claim that Salman has taken the initiative to resolve the issue due to his personal affection for Ranbir and his long-standing relationship with the Akhtar family.
Sources say that Salman has tried to convince Farhan that creative differences are a normal part of the film industry. On the other hand, he has also tried to understand Ranbir's position after lengthy discussions. According to Salman, Bollywood is a big family and it is better to resolve professional differences with mutual respect rather than taking them to legal complications.
It is learnt that the main differences between Ranbir and Farhan arose over the character development and script of 'Don 3'. Ranbir wanted the film to be presented in a darker and more violent style, with more action and realism. However, director Farhan Akhtar was adamant about maintaining the traditional style and appeal of the franchise. In addition, Ranbir was unhappy with the repeated changes in the shooting schedule and the lack of a final script.
Later, when Ranveer walked out of the film, Farhan Akhtar raised the issue with the federation. On May 25, the FWICE issued a non-cooperation notice against Ranveer. At the same time, Excel Entertainment sent him a legal notice demanding Rs 45 crore as compensation for the money spent on pre-production.
However, Ranveer Singh did not comment publicly during the entire controversy. His spokesperson said that Ranveer has consciously maintained silence despite the ongoing speculation. He believes that professional differences and personal issues should be resolved through discussions with mutual respect. Now it remains to be seen whether the dispute ends with the mediation of Salman Khan and where the future of 'Don 3' takes a turn.
