Popular vocalist Shreya Ghoshal has once again created a storm of discussion in the Indian music world. She has created concern and curiosity among fans by hinting at her departure from the world of playback singing. Earlier, Arijit Singh came into widespread discussion with the same decision, and now Shreya has hinted at walking on the same path.
In a recent interview, Shreya said that the continuous workload of a long time has made her tired. Therefore, she is seriously considering taking a break from playback in the future. She also has some objections to the changing trends in the music world, which is pushing her towards this decision.
She has clearly rejected the trend of 'lip-sync' or technology-based singing, especially in live performances. In her words, the real beauty of the art is in the live voice, and if that is lost, the interest in singing will also be lost. He said that the day he has to stand on stage and sing a song while lip-syncing, he will quit singing.
On the other hand, referring to Arijit Singh's recent hiatus, Shreya said that he also feels the need for such a break sometimes. This means that the star is not ruling out the possibility of a long break, if not a complete retirement from his playback career.
However, even though he has not officially announced his retirement yet, Shreya's comment has created concern among fans. Because such a decision by two popular singers could indicate a major change in Indian playback music.
