I am an actress, I travel a lot, I work in Kolkata for a long time—he does not object to any of these. He allows me to work, that is the biggest thing for me. We are both very private people, so we try to be ourselves.”

Asked about marriage, Jaya said, “I cannot say anything about marriage right now. I am in no hurry to get married, or I do not know if I will. However, I respect the idea of getting married and living together. No decision has been made on it yet.”
