Today is February 14, World Valentine's Day - 'Valentine's Day'. Shafiq Rehman is the promoter of this day in Bangladesh. His commitment and love for the day is a beautiful message for the people of the country. He said, 'The world survives because there is love.' Prominent columnist and editor Shafiq Rehman, as the promoter of Valentine's Day in Bangladesh, said, "This is my wish on Valentine's Day, that all the people of the country will forget hatred and jealousy and only show love to each other." He also said, "Amidst many conflicts, hatred, and jealousy, may everyone spend at least one day in peace and love."
He said that it was not possible to introduce this day alone, it is the result of everyone's collective efforts. Shafiq Rehman said, ‘This day has now gained wide popularity among the people of our country, and this love has spread with the cooperation of everyone.’
There is no blood relationship behind Valentine’s Day, rather it is a shining example of peace and social harmony in the country. Shafiq Rehman added in his message, ‘We can build a peaceful life in the world by loving each other. That is why I introduced this day.’
Shafiq Rehman especially appealed to the youth, ‘You should respect the elderly, exchange love with them. Similarly, the youth will establish tolerance, patience and peace by loving each other.’
On this day, Shafiq Rehman called on everyone to create a relationship of love not only between lovers, but also between all family members, friends, colleagues and even neighbors.
In addition, he expressed happiness over the development of flower and restaurant businesses in Bangladesh on Valentine’s Day and called for a 30% discount for businessmen. “This is not just a day, but may it become a new chapter in our lives, where we can live together in peace by loving each other,” he said.
