Jaya is currently in Pabna, where she is shooting for a web series, ‘Jimmi’. In it, she plays the role of a government employee. She plans to return to Dhaka after finishing the shooting in a few days.

Jaya Ahsan’s Akram Khan-directed film ‘Nakshi Kanthar Zamin’ is currently playing in theaters across the country. The audience believes that this film based on the Liberation War is educational for the younger generation. Jaya herself has also played an active role in promoting the film.
