Actor Arifin Shubo, who acted in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's biopic 'Mujib: Shaper of a Nation' with a salary of Tk 1, was allotted 10 katha plots by the Capital Development Authority. The authority has decided to cancel the plot allocated from the Purbachal New Town project in Raju under the reserved quota. This information is known from Rajuk sources on Thursday. Besides, the authorities have also decided to cancel the plot of the movie's producer Liton Haider with Arifin Shubo.
According to Rajuk sources, initiatives have been taken to cancel the plots allocated under the reserved quota at various times by the Sheikh Hasina government. As a part of that, the authorities have decided to cancel the Rajuk plot allotted to actor Arifin Shubo, who came into discussion with the movie 'Mujib: Shaper of a Nation'. However, as a general rule, allotment of plots is not cancelled.
As per the decision of the board meeting of Rajuk on November 27 last year, actor Arifin Shubo and producer Liton Haider were allotted plots under the reserved quota from the Rajuk Purbachal New Town project. Out of this Shubo is allotted 10 katha and producer a three katha plot.
