Providing scholarships to meritorious students in Kurigram

In Kurigram, 28 meritorious students were awarded certificates and payments as scholarships through competitive examinations. On Thursday morning, Upazila Executive Officer Saida Parveen distributed money and certificates through the local Full Until Light (Full) NGO at Kurigram Sadar Upazila Parishad hall.

Kurigram Sadar police station officer in-charge Masudur Rahman, upazila secondary academic supervisor Mizanur Rahman, upazila primary education officer Shariful Islam, senior journalists Safi Khan, Humayun Kabir Surya, Fazle Elahi Swapan, executive director of Full NGO Abdul Quader and others were present.
500 rupees and certificates were distributed among 28 meritorious students from Kurigram Sadar, Phulbari and Nageshwari upazilas.
Meanwhile, Executive Director Abdul Quader said that in the fiscal year 2023, we provided scholarships to 28 students. In the fiscal year 2024, we will provide financial assistance to a total of 1,100 students from 9 upazilas in three categories for one year. Singapore-based donor agency Prabasjan is supporting it financially.
