Dhaka-8 candidate Osman Hadi shot, taken to DMCH

Inquilab Manch spokesperson and Dhaka-8 constituency candidate Sharif Osman Hadi has been shot. He was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in a seriously injured condition.
Dhaka Medical College Police Outpost In-charge Md. Faruk confirmed the incident and said, “Osman Hadi has been brought to DMCH in a shot condition. He is currently being treated in the emergency department.”
Details about how, where or who shot Osman Hadi are not yet known. Tension prevails in the area after the incident. Police are said to be working to investigate the cause of the incident.
Efforts are underway to collect more information in this regard.
