Businessman Azizul Haque holds press conference to protest Facebook propaganda

Tetulia businessman Md. Azizul Haque held a press conference to protest false and baseless propaganda on social media Facebook.
The press conference was held in the room of Bangla Hotel located in Chourasta Bazar of Tetulia Upazila on Tuesday (October 28) afternoon.
In a written statement, Azizul Haque alleged that a vested interest group is systematically trying to humiliate him socially. In continuation of this, some people named Mojaher Bhai, Rana Bhai and Parvez are spreading false, fabricated and defamatory information against him on Facebook.
He said, “I have been running Bangla Hotel with a good reputation for 21 years. But now propaganda is being spread about my business. This is completely false and a planned conspiracy.”
He further said that due to these misinformation, his social status is being damaged and he is under mental stress. Therefore, he urged the administration to take immediate legal action against the misinformation spreaders.
Tetulia Bangla Hotel employees Akhter Hossain, Rafiqul Islam, local dignitaries and journalists from various print and electronic media were present at the press conference.
