A day laborer was killed in a bus accident in Sirajganj

A day laborer named Md. Nayeb Ali (50) was killed in a tragic road accident in Tarash upazila of Sirajganj district on Saturday morning. The incident took place on Bishwa Road, west of Mahishluti Bazar. The deceased Nayeb Ali was a resident of Debipur village in Naogaon Union.
It was learned from eyewitnesses that Nayeb Ali is a day laborer by profession. He was returning home in the morning after finishing his work of guarding someone else's pond. At that time, a speeding bus hit a pickup van. As a result, the pickup van overturned and crushed Nayeb Ali, and he died on the spot.
After the accident, locals quickly tried to catch the killer bus, but the driver was able to quickly flee the scene. Police have confirmed the truth of the incident and efforts are underway to catch the driver who fled.
