Legal notice against NCP leader Nasiruddin Patwari for making derogatory remarks about the Prime Minister and his daughter

A legal notice has been sent against Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) leader Nasiruddin Patwari for allegedly making derogatory and defamatory statements about the Prime Minister and his daughter Jayma Rahman.
Mymensingh Judge Court Advocate and Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Public Prosecutor (PP) AKM Azizul Haque Khan confirmed the matter on Saturday (May 23). He told Daily Ittefaq that he has served the notice as part of the legal process.
He later posted the legal notice on his Facebook profile, which sparked a discussion on social media.
The legal notice states that Nasiruddin Patwari recently made objectionable comments about the Prime Minister and her family members, which are alleged to be defamatory and hurt the sentiments of crores of people.
The notice also states that he has been asked to provide a written explanation regarding the allegations within the next 15 days. Otherwise, he has been warned that legal action will be taken against him.
The incident has sparked fresh discussions in the political arena.
