Khoksa Police Station OC Annoor Zaid was present along with local people during the burial. Sharif Hossain performed the kulkhani of Maruf in the local mosque.
Sharif Hossain said, "The last time I spoke with my son was around 11 o'clock on the 19th. There was still no food in their mess. After 5 pm, his son's classmate called him and informed him of Maruf's death. He also said that the family is no longer running due to lack of money. My body is also bad. I have lost my son, what will I ask from the government. I have nothing else to ask for. Sharif looked speechless as he spoke in tears. He wants justice for killing his son.
