Patia police station surrounded, attempt to abduct the accused

In Chittagong's Patia, there was a clash between the police and the local crowd and madrasah students. The clash took place when a young man who was arrested for insulting Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) tried to snatch him. In this incident, local people blocked the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway and surrounded the Patia police station.
It is known that the teachers and students of Patia Al-Jamia Al-Islamia Patia Madrasa held a protest march and rally at Patia Thana Junction on Sunday to protest against Indian priest Ramgiri Maharaj's taunting of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and a BJP leader's support for that statement. In the meantime, a young man named Patiya Partha Biswas Pintu has been accused of insulting the religion of Islam and the Prophet and posting on Facebook. A case was filed against them.
The teachers and students of Al-Jamia Al-Islamia Patia Madrasa and the local crowd surrounded the police station on the news that Pintu was arrested from Patia in the afternoon and taken to the police station. They want to snatch the accused. This led to their clash with the police.
