Two-day 'Writing Exhibition' of Young Columnists at IBU

A two-day 'Writing Exhibition' has been held at the Islamic University (IU). On the occasion of the 46th founding anniversary of the university, it has been organized by the "Bangladesh Young Column Writers Forum, IU Branch". The exhibition, organized at the university's Battala on Tuesday (November 26) at 1 pm, was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Naqib Mohammad Nasrullah.
Exhibition arrangements
The exhibition displayed more than a hundred writings by young writers published in various newspapers and magazines, including writings on the July Uprising and martyrs. In addition, the organization has organized intellectual and creative programs including 'Moner Janala', an open quiz competition and an open writing call for the organization's bimonthly publication post office to convey various problems and expectations of the campus to the university vice-chancellor.
The organization has decorated the university's Battala with various types of crafts. A festive atmosphere prevails in Battala with the writing exhibition in focus. Students from various departments are spontaneously participating in this exhibition.

Role and comments of the organization
President of the organization Khairuzzaman Khan Sunny said,
"This is an event to celebrate the founding anniversary of the Islamic University and to inspire young students to write." We are working to establish a beautiful society through intellectual practice and are trying to make students book-oriented.”
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Naqib Mohammad Nasrullah praised the young writers and said,
“Writing is an important means of highlighting the inconsistencies of society. I hope that such creative work of students will increase in the future.”
Speciality
Established in 2019, the “Bangladesh Young Columnist Forum, IU Branch” is not only active in writing, but also in social and voluntary work. This branch has been selected as the “Best Branch of the Year” five times in a row, which is proof of their consistent success.
This organization is a successful attempt to inspire the intellectual development and creative activities of the youth. It will play a role in increasing interest in writing and creative practice among the young people not only in Islamic universities but also across the country.
