Cold wave again, says Meteorological Office!

The Meteorological Department said that mild to moderate cold wave may blow over some parts of the country. There is a possibility of this cold wave starting from January 21.
Meteorologist Md. Omar Farooq said that the temperature during the day and night on Sunday and Monday may drop by one to two degrees Celsius. This will increase the feeling of cold further. This trend of cold may increase from January 20 and cold wave may appear in some areas of the northern and western regions. However, the temperature may increase slightly from January 23.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Office has predicted that there is a possibility of a drop in temperature again from January 26.
According to the Meteorological Department, if the temperature in an area drops to 10 degrees Celsius or below and it lasts for two to three days, it is considered a cold wave. If the temperature is between 8 and 10 degrees, it is considered mild, if it is between 6 and 8 degrees, it is considered moderate, and if it is between 4 and 6 degrees, it is considered severe cold wave. When the temperature drops below 4 degrees, it is called a severe cold snap.
