With uncertainty surrounding Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior's contract renewal at Spanish giants Real Madrid, speculation has been rife. The 26-year-old is reportedly set to join English Premier League side Arsenal. However, the news about Vinicius' future and transfer has been called "completely false and harmful" by his representative agency, 'Rock Nation Sports International'.

Several international media outlets claimed that Arsenal were desperate to take advantage of the opportunity to sign Vinicius if a new contract with Real Madrid was not reached. However, Michael Yormark, president of Rock Nation Sports International, strongly rejected such news on social media Instagram. He expressed his extreme dissatisfaction and wrote, "It is not possible to remain silent when irresponsible media outlets spread such misinformation about players in order to attract cheap attention. Targeting athletes without any evidence and spreading defamatory confusion cannot be acceptable in any way."

Vinicius currently has a contract at the Santiago Bernabeu until June 2027. However, Spanish media reports say that he is in talks with the club authorities to extend his contract. If the deal falls through for any reason, Real Madrid are not ruling out selling him. Arsenal are looking to take advantage of this situation; they are reportedly ready to make significant concessions to their salary structure and image rights to get Vinicius.

However, despite the Gunners' interest, no formal talks have yet begun between the two clubs. After a strong statement from Vinicius' agency, it is clear that the Brazilian forward is currently focused on Real Madrid and football fans have been urged to ignore social media rumours.
