Leaving the disappointment of the World Cup's failure to meet expectations, Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti is now looking to reshape the future Seleção team. After the bitter experience of exiting in the last 16 last season, the Italian mastermind is planning to build a new team with young talents by eyeing the 2030 World Cup.

Ancelotti, who returned to Rio de Janeiro after the post-World Cup break, has already held long discussions with senior CBF officials. In an interview with international media, he made it clear that generational change is a natural process in football and Brazil is now entering that new cycle. This process of settling young people on the international stage will accelerate after the retirement of the all-time top scorer Neymar Jr. from international football.

However, giving opportunities to newcomers does not mean that experienced players are being completely left out. According to Ancelotti, the door will always be open to those who still have enough to give to the Brazilian national team. His main goal is to create a balanced and strong Seleção squad by combining the enthusiasm of the young and the skills of the experienced.

The CBF has expressed full confidence in Ancelotti, who took charge of Brazil in May this year, and has extended his contract until the 2030 World Cup. The five-time world champions will begin their new journey with a tour of Australia in the upcoming FIFA window in September and October with friendly matches.
