Bangladesh T20 captain Liton Kumar Das is now the Bangladeshi with the most half-centuries on the international stage. He completed it by scoring 73 runs off 46 balls in the third and final match against the Netherlands in Sylhet. The previous holder of this record was Shakib Al Hasan.

Liton has not only reached the half-century mark, but also reached the level of Mahmudullah Riyad in one statistic. Liton has reached the number of sixes in just 110 matches to equal Riyad, who has hit 77 sixes in 141 matches. If he hits one more six, he will also write the record for the most sixes in the shortest format in his name.

Liton has also become the highest run-scorer in the Dutch series. A total of 145 runs in three matches, which is a big confidence booster for Bangladesh in preparation for the Asia Cup. Although there were some concerns about the batting before the series, his playing style in the last match has overcome those concerns.

Liton could not fully test the batters after winning the toss and bowling first in the first two matches. But in the last match, when Netherlands captain Scott Edwards invited Bangladesh to bat, Liton played a stormy innings. He put on a fine opening partnership with Saif Hasan, scoring 73 runs.

Although the Netherlands missed some great chances in the fielding, they tried to create a great spectacle with some spectacular sixes from Zaker Ali Anik and Nurul Hasan Sohan at the last moment, but the rain hampered the play.
