The Windies women's team will face Bangladesh in the white-ball series without Stephanie Taylor. The Caribbeans did not get this experienced all-rounder in the team due to a knee injury.
They will play three ODIs and three T20Is at home in the series. The Windies have already announced a 15-member squad. Pace bowling all-rounder Cherie Anne Fraser has returned to the ODI team after more than a year. In addition, 21-year-old pacer Janilia Glasgow, who has previously played four T20Is, has also been included in the ODI team.
The first ODI of the series will be held on January 19, the next two matches on January 21 and 24. Then the T20 series matches will be held on January 27, 29 and 31. All the matches will be held at Warner Park in St. Kitts.
This is the first bilateral series between West Indies and Bangladesh. The two teams last met in the 2022 World Cup. The Windies women's team has not lost a match against Bangladesh in five appearances in international cricket so far.
