6 wickets for 60 runs, Bangladesh at lunch break

Bangladesh in a terrible disaster in the first session of the Mirpur Test. Nazmul Hossain Shanto's team went into the lunch break losing 6 wickets for 60 runs. Mehdi Hasan Miraj was dismissed for 13 runs off 24 balls before the break. He was lbw by South African spinner Keshav Maharaj. The right-handed batsman could not live with the review after the umpire's direct out announcement.
Bangladesh won the toss and batted first at the Sher Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Monday (October 21). However, the hosts were shocked at the beginning when they came to bat. Proteas pacer Mulder delivered the first blow to the Tiger camp.
In the second over of the innings, Sadman Islam returned to Sajghar with zero runs. The left-handed opener was caught by Aiden Markram at second slip off Protea pacer Wan Mulder. Bangladesh lost the first wicket for the team's 6 runs.
Muminul Haque also returned to Sajghar after an over break. The left-handed batsman reached the pavilion by scoring only 4 runs off 6 balls. Muminul came back with a catch in the hands of wicketkeeper Kyle Venaine from Mulder's ball.
In the sixth over of the innings, captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto returned to Sajghar. 7 runs from 7 balls came from his bat to get out. The Tiger skipper returned with a simple catch by Keshav Maharaj at short mid-off off Mulder's ball. Protea pacer Mulder sent home the first three batters of the hosts.
Mushfiqur Rahim was trying to pull Bangladesh on the wicket. But Kagiso Rabada's ball could not be understood by this experienced batsman. He finally came with a wicket. Mushfiq returned to Sajghar after scoring 11 runs off 20 balls.
The hosts lost 4 wickets for 40 runs. Liton Das could not bring relief to Bangladesh who were in extreme batting disaster. This wicket-keeper batsman got out after adding 5 more runs to the scoreboard. He returned to the dressing room after being caught by Tristan Stubbs at slip off Kagiso Rabada. 1 run from 13 balls came from his bat before getting out.
