The Tigers have been whitewashed in the two-match series by losing to India by 7 wickets. About two and a half days in the Kanpur Test were washed away by rain. Bangladesh were bowled out for 233 runs in the first innings on Muminul Haque's century. In response, India declared an innings of 285 runs with aggressive batting. Rohit Sharma gave the team a lead of only 52 runs. Bangladesh were bowled out for 146 runs in the second innings due to the failure of the batsmen.
India's target of victory is 95 runs, the start was not good for India. Rohit Sharma returned to Sajghar after scoring 8 runs in 7 balls for the team's 18 runs. He remained unbeaten on 29 runs off 37 balls. Mehdi Hasan Miraj took 2 wickets and Taijul Islam took 1 wicket.
