Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman arrives in Panchagarh

Panchagarh District Jamaat-e-Islami has held a press conference on the occasion of the arrival of Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, the top leader of the 10-party electoral alliance and the central Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, in Panchagarh. The press conference organized at the Panchagarh District Jamaat office on Wednesday afternoon highlighted various aspects of the party's program and preparations for the upcoming national parliament elections.
Panchagarh District Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Maulana Iqbal Hossain addressed the press conference. He said that on Friday morning, January 23, Central Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will start the formal election campaign for the Panchagarh-1 and Panchagarh-2 parliamentary elections. During this time, he will seek votes for the party candidates as well as the 10-party electoral alliance partners and will exchange views with the general public.
Maulana Iqbal Hossain also said that extensive preparations have been made in Panchagarh for the visit of the central Ameer. Several central leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami will be present during this visit. He also expressed hope that the leaders of the partner parties of the 10-party alliance will also participate in the program, which will further strengthen the alliance's strong position in the electoral arena.
The press conference was attended by Panchagarh District Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary and Director of the Election Steering Committee for two constituencies of Panchagarh Maulana Delwar Hossain, District Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer and Secretary of the Election Steering Committee for Panchagarh-1 constituency Maulana Mofiz Uddin, Panchagarh-2 constituency MP candidate Shafiullah Sufi, District Jamaat Media Department Secretary Shahid Al Islam, Panchagarh-2 constituency Election Steering Committee Secretary and Panchagarh District Workers' Welfare Federation President Abul Bashar Basunia and other leaders.
At the press conference, the leaders said that they hope that the visit of the central emir will inject new momentum into the electoral politics of Panchagarh and that public support for the alliance candidates will be further strengthened.
