BNP's VP Ainul Haque in Sirajganj-3 constituency: Excitement among leaders and activists

Ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections, senior leader and former student leader VP Ainul Haque has been nominated by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP in Sirajganj-3 (Tardash-Salanga-Raiganj) constituency. As soon as the news of his nomination spread, there was joy and excitement among party leaders and activists and ordinary voters. This has breathed new life into the local BNP and grassroots leaders and activists warmly congratulated this decision.
VP Ainul Haque is a long-time tested and experienced politician. He has been involved in the politics of Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal since his student days. He has served in important positions in the central committee of Chhatra Dal and later led Sirajganj District Chhatra Dal. Under his leadership, the organizational base of Chhatra Dal in the district was further strengthened. Later, he served in various important positions in the district BNP. He is known to the people of the area as an honest, unselfish and uncompromising leader.
Sirajganj-3 constituency has always been considered a strategically important area for BNP. The party high command was looking for a candidate who could strengthen the party's organizational position and also play an effective role in the electoral arena. In that context, VP Ainul Haque was nominated due to his long political experience, dedication to the party, imprisonment and public involvement. The trust and respect of the leaders and activists towards him at the local level has made him the main hope of BNP in this constituency.
The general voters are also looking at this nomination positively. They feel that Ainul Haque is the bearer of development-oriented politics in the area. He has far-reaching plans for education, agriculture, health and infrastructural development. He is easily acceptable to the general public due to his close relationship with the locals and simple lifestyle.
In response to receiving the nomination, VP Ainul Haque said,
“I will try my best to uphold the dignity of the trust and confidence with which the party has nominated me. I will work all-out for the welfare of the people, the development of the area and the restoration of democracy. My victory in this seat will be the victory of the people of Sirajganj, the victory of democracy.”
Local political analysts believe that VP Ainul Haque’s candidacy has given a new dimension to BNP’s electoral prospects in Sirajganj-3 constituency. Many are also hoping that under his leadership, BNP will be able to further unite the organization and build a strong fight in the upcoming elections.
His nomination has given rise to a new discussion not only within the BNP, but also in the entire politics of Sirajganj.
