BNP holds courtyard meeting to implement 31 points in Dhamsona

A non-evicted courtyard meeting was held on Friday afternoon at the initiative of BNP in Dhamsona Union of Savar, where emphasis was laid on the implementation of the party's 31 points to repair the state structure. The meeting was held in the courtyard of a house in the Sabujbag area at the initiative of Ward 1, 2 and 3 BNP.
Dhaka District North Chhatra Dal President Mohammad Tamiz Uddin was present as the chief guest at the meeting, who conveyed greetings to the leaders and activists on behalf of BNP's former MP from Dhaka-19 constituency and nomination aspirant Dr. Dewan Md. Salauddin Babu.
Mohammad Tamiz Uddin said in his speech, "The implementation of the 31 points to repair the state structure is the demand of the hour. By implementing these points, it is possible to restore democracy, ensure the independence of the judiciary and administration, and ensure the fundamental rights of the people. The young generation must play a leading role in this movement." He further added, “Dr. Dewan Md. Salauddin Babu is always by the side of the people of Dhamsona. Under his leadership, the movement to restore democracy in Dhaka-19 constituency will be stronger.”
Local BNP and its affiliate leaders said that through the implementation of the 31-point program, it will be possible to restore the balance of the country’s state institutions and establish the people’s voting rights.
At the end of the courtyard meeting, a special prayer was offered for the good health and longevity of Begum Khaleda Zia, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and Dr. Dewan Md. Salauddin Babu.
Leaders and activists of BNP, Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, Sramik Dal and Chhatra Dal were present at the meeting. The program was conducted by the leaders of Dhamsona Union BNP. The speakers said that the grassroots BNP is united in restoring democracy in the country and the implementation of the 31-point program to repair the state structure will be the basis for change.
