Tarique Rahman is the country's future Prime Minister: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that the party's acting chairman Tarique Rahman is the country's future Prime Minister. He claimed that if the 31-point proposal presented by Tarique Rahman is implemented, there will be epoch-making changes in various fields, including the country's health sector.
He made these comments while speaking as the chief guest at the National Council of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) in the capital on Saturday (August 9) afternoon.
Mirza Fakhrul said,
"Tarique Rahman's proposal is capable of bringing positive and constructive changes not only in politics but also in health, education, economy and administration. The culture of mutual jealousy and revenge that has developed in our political culture has pushed the nation towards destruction. It is important to come out of this culture."
Criticizing the government's policy-making, the BNP Secretary General said,
"Starting from the pharmaceutical industry policy, many of the government's decisions are against the public interest. Our goal should be to ensure not only the right to vote, but also the fundamental and civil rights of the people."
He praised the role of DAB in the development of the health sector and called on doctors to unite and participate in restoring democracy.
