The hospital authorities have conducted an operation to evict the illegal ambulance service from the Dhaka Medical College (DMH) Hospital.
On Saturday (August 17) around 2.30 pm, users were evicted from the illegally occupied ambulance garage in front of the new building of DMH Hospital, next to the emergency department and next to the police camp.
Brigadier General Asaduzzaman, director of DMK Hospital, said that we have warned these illegal ambulance owners several times so that they do not occupy important places of Dhaka Medical as garage. But they did not listen to our words. So today we are conducting this evacuation operation with the help of army personnel.
He said that they were given time between 3:00 PM and 30:00 PM. So that they illegally vacated the garage of their ambulance service at Dhaka Medical and shifted the ambulance vehicles elsewhere. Restrooms, toilets and essential facilities for the patient's relatives will be constructed in these occupied spaces. So that the affected patients and their relatives can have full confidence in Dhaka Medical.
At that time, Deputy Director, Assistant Director and other officials of DMK Hospital were present in the evacuation operation.
