Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Sohan Mia has resigned. Monday (August 12) Chancellor and President of the University. They sent resignation letter to Sahabuddin.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder mentioned in his resignation letter, 'I voluntarily resigned from the post of Vice-Chancellor due to personal reasons. In order not to disrupt the activities of the University due to this resignation and until a full-time/Acting Vice-Chancellor is appointed by the President, Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department Dr. Muhammad Machud will serve as Vice-Chancellor.
Professor Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder joined as Vice Chancellor of Kuwait on 1 September 2022.
On the other hand, the vice-chancellor professor Dr. Sohan Mia mentioned in his resignation letter, 'I joined the post of Pro-Vice Chancellor of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology on November 22, 2022. Now I seek relief from the post of Pro-Vice Chancellor due to my physical illness and personal reasons.'
